Privacy Policy:

From 21 December, 2001, the Federal Privacy Commissioner implemented National Privacy Principles (NPPs) [Privacy Act 1988] to regulate the collection, retention and use of personal information in the private sector, which includes some companies within the The Ausis Group.

The Ausis Group is conscious of the importance of maintaining the confidentiality of our clients' personal information.

What is classified as personal information?

Name, date of birth, current address, previous addresses, telephone numbers, e-mail address, occupation, drivers license number, credit reference reporting, bank account details, credit card details, logon identification numbers, pin numbers, passwords, security codes.

The manner and purpose of the collection of personal information.

Ausis has various ways in which we collect information, including:

• When providing the products/services you request;
• Information provided through the completion of application/registration forms for products/services we provide;
• Information you enter on our web site;
• From third parties such as related companies; credit reporting agencies;
• Directly from you via phone/e-mail/letters;
• From our existing records on how you use our services;
• From publicly available sources of information (eg phone directories)
• Direct Marketing Companies.

How do we use and disclose your personal information?

We assure you we only collect personal information that is necessary for us to carry out the various functions and activities we undertake for the benefit of our clients. We take all possible steps to ensure that client information is not disclosed or accessed by unauthorised parties.

Where information disclosure is necessary to fulfil our business commitments to you we may disclose information to persons involved in administering the services, our related entities and business partners.

Sensitive information is only disclosed when it relates to serious injury, death, or law under Commonwealth Government legislation.

When does Ausis use and disclose your personal information?

• When providing the products/services you request;
• To conduct credit-worthiness checks through credit reporting agencies;
• For possible fraud investigations;
• For cross marketing by informing you of other services available to you within the Ausis Group's products;
• For the distribution of newsletters/flyers;
• To provide upgrades/maintenance to our products/services;
• To government and regulatory authorities and other organisations, as required or authorised by law;
• For the purpose of financing products supplied by the Ausis Group.

The Ausis Group contracts out some services that involve Contractors marketing our products and services. All personal information that is provided is used solely for the purpose of marketing the group's products within the Ausis Group. Outsourcing of our client database is not practised within the group.

Consent for use in advising of products and services.

Currently your contact details are used from time to time to advise you of new products or services, which you may be interested in. These products/services relate to companies within the Ausis Group.

From 21 December 2001, you are able to withhold your consent to the use of new contact details (that you provide to us) for this purpose. Therefore if you do not consent to such use, please advise our privacy officer accordingly.

If we are not advised in this regard, we will assume that you consent to the use of your contact details for this purpose.

Data Security

Ausis will take all reasonable steps to keep our client's personal information secure. Staff are trained to respect privacy and confidentiality of client files. You can also help us keep your personal information secure by ensuring that any password you use on our web sites are kept strictly confidential, and by always logging off if you are using a shared computer. Please notify us immediately if there is any unauthorised use of your account.

Keeping the information we hold about you up to date

Ausis take all reasonable steps to ensure the information we hold about you is accurate and up-to-date. In order for us to maintain up-to-date information, please assist us by notifying us if your details need updating (e.g. you have a new address or have changed your name). Ausis shall, if requested by the individual, take all reasonable steps to update all personal information in client records.

Requests, queries or complaints regarding personal information

If you would like to know what personal information we hold about you please forward your request to our privacy officer in writing. Should you have any further queries or concerns please contact us. We aim to respond to most requests within 21 days, or longer for more detailed requests.

SECURE8 TERMS AND CONDITIONS

(USER AGREEMENT)

The terms and conditions ascribed hereunder constitute a binding agreement between SECURE8 (the Company) a division of The Ausis Group and all users, visitors, members, subscribers, and others (accessing www.ausis.info (the site).

Users should read all of the following terms and conditions carefully, and understand proceeding further aknowledges acceptance of site terms listed throughout the site:

1. Acceptance of Terms and Conditions.

All persons, entities, or otherwise who visit, subscribe, use or otherwise access this site acknowledge that they have read, understood and agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of this agreement.

2. Operation and Use of Site.

The Site is an online property identification and storage system designed for the storage of information pertaining, but not limited, to the identification of lost or stolen property. Members can register their property on the password protected storage system, allowing the personal information that the member intends to make available to the public and/or authorities and dealers. The serial number, model numbers, brand and personal identification codes that have been engraved or permanently marked on items may then be recorded once the User has registered and is logged into the Site. Lost or stolen property registered in the system could be identified to aid recovery. The system can be accessed by police, pawnbrokers, second-hand dealers and the general public as a tool to help identify if items offered for sale have been stolen.

The Company does not edit or control Users third party content, however, it reserves the right to, at its sole discretion:

• (a) access and review the content and information provided;
• (b) remove, alter, or discontinue access to, the content or information where a suspicion of unlawful activity arises, or otherwise where it deems appropriate to do so; and,
• (c) disclose any information provided by Users to the police or other Authorities where requested to do so by law, or where a suspicion of Unlawful activity arises;
• (d) demand, obtain, and / or view evidence of title to property, of whatever description, as it deems appropriate and from any User, and to effect clause 2(a)-(c) of this agreement where such evidence or proof is not provided immediately upon request.

In utilising the Site, Users must not:

• (a) record false or misleading information or make any false representation, including making false reports of stolen property, or recording property that does not belong to them (this may be a criminal offence);
• (b) interfere with corrupt, disrupt, or limit any of the Sites information technology, including the hardware and software, through the introduction of viruses or any other means; and
• (c) use the Site for other than a lawful purpose.

3. Accounts, Passwords and Security

Users are solely responsible for the security and confidentiality of their password, other account details, and access to their computers.

All users should be mindful of the risks associated with recording information over the internet, and the Company cannot guarantee, and does not warrant or represent, that such information is not subject to all the risks associated with internet usage for personal information.

4. Modification of Site

The Company reserves the right to vary, modify, alter or otherwise deal with the Site, and / or the content and information recorded thereon, including these terms and conditions, at its sole discretion, and without prior notification to Users.

5. Intellectual Property

The Company holds all intellectual property rights in all intellectual property contained and displayed on the Site, including:

• (a) copyright in all content, other than third party content contributed by Users; and,
• (b) trademarks and other logos, whether registered or unregistered;
• (c) the use of such trademarks, logos, or other information and content is expressly prohibited and should not be taken, reproduced, or used by any other person or entity without prior written consent of the Company.

6. Legal Disclaimer

The Company seeks to provide a quality service to the Users of this Site. However, the majority of information and content recorded on this site is supplied by individual third party contributors, such as members or subscribers. As such information and content of this Site is provided on an as is basis, and any reliance on this information or content is at the sole risk of the User. The Company expressly disclaims any and all liability and responsibility for:

• (a) any act or omission made by any person or otherwise, in reliance on any information provided by this Site;
• (b) any loss associated with the use or reliance upon information or data contained on this Site; and,
• (c) any false reports made to police or other parties who may rely thereon by a User of the Site as a result of information contained on this Site.
• The Company does not guarantee nor does it represent or warrant, whether expressed or implied, that:
• (a) any property listed by a User is lawfully owned by that User, or that they are legally entitled to the ownership thereof, and further disclaims any liability or responsibility for any reliance placed on the accuracy of that information;
• (b) any property listed as stolen has in fact been stolen, and further disclaims any liability or responsibility for any reliance placed on the accuracy of that information; and,
• (c) any property reported as stolen will be recovered.
• The Company is not responsible for any content recorded, provided, or transmitted by Users, nor any loss, damage or otherwise that results there from. The Company is under no obligation to vary, delete, or otherwise monitor the content of the Site as contributed by Users.
• Any User intending to rely on this site is individually responsible for independently verifying the accuracy, currency, and completeness of the information and data contained herein. The Company makes no representations, warranties, or guarantees, whether expressed or implied, as to the accuracy, currency, completeness or availability of this Site or the information contained herein.
• The Company does not in any way warrant that Users who list certain property are the ones who have a genuine right and title thereto. It is for the individual owners of the property to prove their title to or interest in the said property.

7.Privacy Act

The Company understands the importance of ensuring that personal information remains private and confidential, particularly as the members and subscribers of the site voluntarily submit such information to be recorded therein.

Due to the Companys commitment to privacy, the only information which may be viewed by someone other than the individual member and the Company is that which is readily available in a phone book. Furthermore, the members and subscribers of the Site have the ability to adjust their accounts to limit the information that they would like to be publicly available. However, Users should also be aware that the Company reserves the right to disclose any information recorded on the Site to the police or other authorities where required to do so by law or otherwise where it suspects unlawful activity, at its sole discretion.

8. Governing Law and Severability

This agreement, and the terms and conditions contained herein, are part of and to be read in conjunction with the full terms and conditions which are governed and construed in accordance with the laws operative in the exclusive jurisdiction of Australia in the state of QUEENSLAND.

If any of the terms or conditions, or part thereof, are deemed to be unenforceable or invalid, that term or condition, or part thereof, shall be severed from this agreement, and shall not affect the validity or enforceability of the remainder of the agreement.
